Battling the Breeze at the Mixed Fours Championship
Championship bowls and challenging conditions made for a memorable weekend at Club Mudgeeraba. Robyn, Fi, Trevor and Pete took on the Mixed Fours Championship in some truly horrid windy conditions, and while the weather did its best to test their resolve, it couldn’t dampen their spirits one bit.
Despite the tough conditions on the green, the team finished the day with smiles as big as ever – and that says everything about what club bowls is really all about. Win, lose or draw, it’s the camaraderie, the laughs, and the shared experience of competing together that make days like these so worthwhile.

It’s easy to get caught up in the results, but moments like these remind us why we play. The banter between teammates, the battle against the elements, and the satisfaction of giving it your all – that’s the heart of lawn bowls at Club Mudgeeraba.
